Don’t miss out on this opportunity to be part of a time-honored tradition at Hofbräuhaus Buffalo! Invite your friends, raise your steins, as we welcome back the most anticipated beer of the season!
The Doppelbock is a big, bold, and assertive beer with notes of the dark fruits of plum and raisin, a soft hop presence, and a lingering toasted bread finish. This beer will also have a soft alcohol warmth and medium carbonation.
Doppelbocks (“Doppel” meaning “double”) are a traditional German Bock lager originally brewed by monks during Lent and times of fasting. Monks were not permitted to eat solid foods during the daytime, so they created a big, sweet beer to carry them through their days until evening.
All ages are welcome!
